87% means we expect you to give it about an 87. It comes from every wine of that type you've scored, weighted by how alike each one is.

Syrah: you've scored two, averaging 90. Tannins: your 90+ reds lean softer, and this one doesn't. Tap “Why 87%?” to open the working, and the bottles you've tried that are most like it.

Is it free?
You can start for free. Some features, like scanning whole wine lists and the Mastery map, are part of Vinterest Pro.
Do I need an account?
No. Your wines and scores live on your phone. An account is optional, and only for backing up your wines and moving to a new phone.
What happens to my label photos?
The photo is sent to Claude, the AI that reads the label, and then dropped. Vinterest doesn't keep the image, and no photo is stored with your wines.
Where can I use it?
You can try the web app now. iPhone and Android apps are being prepared, and beta testers get them first.
How does the match work?
It predicts the score you'd give a wine from the wines you've already scored, weighting the ones most like it: same grape, region, producer and style. Under three scored wines of a type it says it's too early to call, rather than guess.
